SANIBEL HISTORICAL VILLAGE ANNOUNCES CONNECT SWFL SPONSORSHIP

February 1, 2022 – The Sanibel Historical Village has announced that Connect SWFL will be a bronze sponsor of its fundraiser Gala Movie Premiere on February 22, 2022, when it will show the documentary “Secrets & Stories of the Sanibel Lighthouse.”

“It is an honor to be able to help the Historical Museum & Village with their continued efforts to share the history of Sanibel as well as the preservation of the historic buildings,” said Alex Santana , CEO of Connect SWFL, a managed IT and website design company.

“Having been an islander myself, I understand the importance of remembering the people who helped shape Sanibel to what it is today,” said Stephanie See, Creative Director for Connect SWFL. “The Historical Village is filled with so many interesting artifacts, photos, and stories from the past. It is important that visitors and locals have the opportunity to visit the Museum & Village for years to come.”

“Connect SWFL has been key to the business of the Historical Village for many years,” said Executive Director Emilie Alfino. “They not only support us with their excellent work but now with their sponsorship dollars as well.”

Anyone interested in a business or individual sponsorship can call Alfino at (239) 472-4648 or
(239) 357-1644. “As we all know, it really does take a village – and it takes community-minded businesses and individuals to help keep our village, the keeper of history, alive on Sanibel,” Alfino said.

Sanibel Historical Museum and Village will begin its regular schedule on December 2, 2023, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Sanibel Historical Village is located at 950 Dunlop Road (next to BIG ARTS) and there is handicap access to eight of the nine buildings.
