May 24, 2022 – The Sanibel Historical Village will offer free admission for all visitors on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is the first time the Village has been able to offer this event since prior to the pandemic.

April 13, 2022 – The Sanibel Historical Village’s documentary, “Secrets and Stories of the Sanibel Lighthouse,” will be shown May 3 at 7 p.m. at Connie Brown Hall at the Tribby Arts Center at Shell Point Retirement Community. The event is open to all.

April 14, 2022 – The Sanibel Historical Museum and Village switches to off-season, summer hours Tuesday, May 3. Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. These hours remain in effect until the museum closes in August.
