February 14, 2020  – The Sanibel Historical Village has announced that King Contracting Services of SWFL was a Silver sponsor of its February 18, 2020, Historical Village Gala. The theme of the gala was “It Takes a Village,” and it was held at the Community House.

“I was raised in Lee County and am a member of the Historical Village. I love the history of the island and want to support it,” said Steve King. “I have many memories of traveling over from Fort Myers with my parents to visit Sanibel in the 1970s and 1980s. My dad would park his car on the sand at Bowman’s Beach and we would spend many hours fishing. As a contractor, I’m happy to donate my services to preserve the past for future generations.”
